Still looking for a nice 75 I can convert to small block olds power. These days your tripping over Shelby's and Yenko's, but '75 Starfire's are very hard to come by. I used to see perfectly good one's in the junkyard years ago, never thought much of it. Now I'm sorry I didn't rescue one.

Here's a '75 w/claimed 50K mis on it. Pricy, and maybe too nice to mod, but its been popping up regularly on Indy CL for more than a year with the same price.

Someone post a pick, I thought the Starfire had gone the way of the steam engine in the 60's. No idea they made them up into the 80's.
Google images will show you all you want.
This version of the Starfire was introduced in 1975 and made through the 1980 model year. In all my travels to Oldsmobile car shows over the last 25 years, I've never see one. It was the Olds version of the Chevy Monza and Buick Skyhawk.
The Vega was a different animal that came out four years earlier, in 1971. It was a twin to the Pontiac Astre. Neither looked anything like a Monza or Starfire.
So the Vega was squashed second gen Camaro? I don't remember the Monza either. Was was that little piece of... Pontiac had the Sunbird? My sister had one in yellow, real junk.
Here's my '78!
43,000 miles, nearly 100% original. I bought it as a college commuter car in 2015. Manual steering, manual brakes. Iron Duke power. Love the thing to death, but I've been trying to get rid of it for about a year now. Problem is, people don't like them quite as much as I do and they just get cut up. I've never seen another one like it.
