I'll ASSUME you have A/C. If so, the motor has two wires, one for power and one for ground (since the A/C case is non-conductive fiberglass). If these are reversed, the motor will likely run backwards.
Since you've provided exactly NO information on the car or whether or not it has A/C, I'm going to see if the mind reading thing is working yet...
