Sharp... Notice the Oldsmobile interior... Dash and door panels... Must have had a lot of Olds parts laying around...

What year?

They say it's a '68, but judging by the tail lights it's a '69...

Nice to see it is Olds powered!

Finally someone with enough sense to realize what Chevy has been missing.

When I was a kid, some 35 years ago, I remember seeing a boat, possibly in NJ that had twin 455 Olds motors and a big ole Dr. Olds on the side. Anybody else in the east remember this boat? If I ever hit the lotto one of the things I would do is buy a 32' Formula put twin 455's in it and call it "The Doctor Is In"

IDK about the tail lights but the front grille is def '68.

If you zoom in they added 455 emblems to the side market light trim.
The Toronado seats look good in there.

I like the silver 70 442 Camino much better, made from the GMC Sprint. Look at this site, texas442.com and search for the 442 El Camino.

Looks nicely done. The only question I have, is it going to bring more money because of the modifications or less because it isn't all original? I have seen some very nice cars that have been penalized financially because they were modified with other division components. I see this car as the car that Olds never built, but should have.

It brought $16,500 so that is open to interpretation. Def less than an El Camino SS in similar shape, but prob more than a base car would bring. Not a bad price for a four speed with AC.
I just noticed the air cleaner has a Ram Rod sticker rather than a 455. Definitely an accumulation of parts on hand.
