I have 62 starfire VVV paint code chariot red, and trying to find out how few were made that color . Thanks for any help

 

Records for that info doesn't exist for Olds.

 

All I can tell you is it was a late introduction color. It replaced Heather Mist and Sunset Mist in early spring 62, which were apparently not selling well. Never mind those were the definitive 1962 Starfire colors- the rest of the 62 lineup wasn't getting ordered in them.
