Anyone going to the Nationals in NM?

My brother and I are both going to Albuquerque New Mexico on July 18th to the 24th. Curious how many others are heading there. Anyone planning on setting up a stall in the swap meet? Al

My wife and I are going. It will be my second National meet; first was in my hometown many years ago.

The wife & I are going. I usually bring a large trailer full of stuff but from Indy to New Mexico is to far this time.

It's going to be my second plus I went to the 100th anniversary in Lansing. This is where having Classic Oldsmobile tshirts would be very cool. I know there has been some discussion on it. Al

And yes definitely going to the drag races as well. Wish I had my W30 down there. I have a 6 pack A12 Superbee that has been raced at the Pure Stock Drags and it ran a best 12:18 at 114.9 mph. First run it posted a 12:47. My Olds has never been down the 1/4.

I will be there on Wednesday with "The Delta Flyer." I went last year and had a great time.

I'm going to be there . My Olds may be there if I can get it together by July.
Otherwise I will be flying in.

T shirts (or at least name tags ) would be a great idea .
So that we could identify ourselves to each other .

We can fix that at Mission Raceway in April or May. I'd love to see that car make a pass on a Friday night. I volunteer for pit crew.

Hi Dave, that would be fun to do! That was on the red stripe reproduction redlines. I think the name tag thing is a good idea re the Nationals. Will have to work on that. The tee shirts would be very cool. Al

Since I live in (near) Albuquerque I will definitely be attending. Should be a good time.

You guys are something like 5,000 ft above sea level. I hear the air is noticeably thin. Al

Yes, the strip is at 5000 ft, but lower altitude than Bandimere in Denver (5800) so there will be "enough" air!

They do have race gas for sale.

Going to be a blast. Really looking forward to it. I hope the swap meet brings out lots of vendors. I have been down to Hershey Pa to the October meet. Nearly 400 acres of parts/cars in isles plus a huge car for sale strip. Olds stuff is getting thin though. Al

I actually live in Cedar Crest in the mountains East of Albuquerque and my house is at 7000 ft. elevation. Most of the time the altitude is not an issue unless you try running up a flight of stairs. Other than that, life in Albuquerque can be quite normal. Most of us even have running water and indoor plumbing is catching on quickly.
