New to Oldsmobile
Hi.
Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. For the past few years I've been dabbling in Buicks. I came upon 3 Oldsmobiles for sale and one intrigued me. There were 2 66 Toronados and a 69 Delta 88. I think there only usable as parts cars, I might be in the market for another 66 Toronado
.
The Delta has no drive train.
One 66 is a complete rotted away hulk, carpets holding in the seats.
The other 66 shows 87,000 mi, the motor has a recent rebuild. It needs a pile of work, runs, I think it drives, I'll know more tomorrow after I get it off the trailer. Front fenders, inner fenders, need replacing. Pretty much the floor, trunk, uni-body, left rear frame mount need attention.
Thanks Bruce

1966 Toronado
Welcome to the site! Although if you changed your name to "Torofarmer" We'd have a better idea what kind of project you were working on
If you haven't checked out the Toro section you should find several guys with 1966 project and parts cars there. John

Thanks for the welcome.
Yes I know, I purchased and parted out about 15 Buicks in the past 3 years while working on my 64 Skylark restoration. I have a chance to broaden my horizons by purchasing 3 Oldsmobiles, so we'll see how it goes.
Take Care

Hi ,
Thanks for the welcome, I'm working on getting my 5 posts in then I can post some pictures. I have spent most of my time over at V8Buick, under a different log on name (64-300-lark) I don't like the name. LOL. Got the Toronado running, had to feed the gas lines to a fresh source. It fired right up drove it up and down the driveway (400' each way) seemed to run alright. Then I tucked away in the barn.
Thanks Bruce

Yes I'm getting both engines, one runs, the other I think will be seized. The car has been sitting outside for 15 + years with no carb or cover over the motor other than the hood.
Thanks Bruce
