8 Trac player

Found this little nugget under the back seat of my latest 72 Cutlass. GM never installed a Audiovox did they ? I do have a hole where the radio was however I believe this was aftermarket. Sounds funny aftermarket 8 track player. Must have got it the day after he bought the car.

An Audiovox was an inexpensive aftermarket replacement and quite popular. Not too bad.

I didn't start installing stereos until the early '80s when cassettes started becoming popular but I still installed quite a few 8-tracks too. Inexpensive even for that time, but still decent stereos. Not worth re-installing but a nice trip down memory lane.
