Can't people read?

While perusing ebay as I typically do every day, I came across the expected Oldsmobile "Cutless". I also saw an Olds "Bravado" and "Del Monte 88".
I mean, the correct spelling is right there on the side of the car in big chrome letters.

Spelling is one thing....... BUT The Buick commercial where a person gets into a (what appears to be) Ford Taurus instead of a friend's Buick, which is right smack in front of her, annoys the heck out of me...
I suspect the original post to be victims of autocorrect. Lots of people these days use their phones for browsing the internet and particularly for putting classifieds up, as it comes with a camera.
"How bout that venerable 442 cu in Olds engine? "
Maybe that is the Golden Rocket big block 350 or small block 400?
I actually heard a guy advertising his used cars as "they won't last long!!"
Maybe "they are GOING FAST" would be a better choice of words, or maybe he was cleverly executing a CYA strategy- "hey, I told you it wouldn't last long"
I saw an ad once for a truck with "4-speed granny" and I laughed and laughed. I thought he meant TRANNY. Turns out, trucks have sometimes a super low first gear, top out at about 10 mph, thus called a "granny gear" - so, the seller DID mean "4-speed granny [geared transmission]" Go granny, go!

Um, no ... that's exactly what I described. Take a smartphone, open Google and try and type any word that's not in it's spell check dictionary. Type (for ***** and giggles) tyre and hit space. Look up and you'll see that it's changed it to tire without asking. Try typing Bravada and the same thing happens.
Koda, I took off in 2nd most of the time in my '89 Dodge Colt. For $5 I'd take off without stalling in 5th just to prove it could be done. About the only time I'd use 1st was starting off uphill.
Ha ha ha that's funny as hell JP
First is not the lowest gear
Why is it not G-1-2-3-R ??
G for Granny
I believe I have driven a truck with the Granny gear. '65 Chevy? I recall leaving it idle driving across the field and getting out and loading it while it lumbered across the field at 1 mph or so.
