You Just Never Know.............

Guys Please put some kind of Safety in your home.......... Last night someone tried getting into my brother and sister in laws home ...he is away hunting so she is home alone with 2 young girls. and he knew it..... So he has been watching for awhile

She was putting the girls to bed at about 8:30 last night when the dog left the room and was going crazy at the kitchen slider.... she came into the room to come face to face with a guy trying to jimmy the lock.. he was calm collected and said he was familiar with a family friend. My sister in law was stunned with panic as this guy was supposedly a big guy.

He didn`t even flinch at the dog.......... It was only when the 2 girls came out of thier rooms that he commented that now is not a good time..... and slowly left the property even bolting the back gate..

The Police showed up shortly after and went over the vunlerable spots of the home and took a desciption of the guy

he has not been found but I tell you what we will find the Fu$ker and he will wish he went to the Cops....

Just watch out for your familes everyone... this is a fairly small town I would hate to see big city stuff

She and those girls were very fortunate. It is amazing to me how little fear the scum has. Part of that in the USA is a pansy azz justice system but I have to be careful and not get political. I have my wife, daughter and two grandsons living in my home. I also have two 12-gauge shotguns with 00 buckshot, a 45 cal Glock and a 357 Magnum. Unfortunately, I am the only one who knows how to use them. I hope they catch this piece of vermin.

I currently have 11 pitbulls in the house - 5 adults and 6 4 wk. old pups!
Not being known could be very dangerous around here!
Don't just walk in the door at my house!

Hope they catch that guy and string him up by his cahonies!!

Scary! My brother-in-law used to be a cop. He bought a 12 gage pump action with as short of barrel as is legal. Then he taught my sister how to use it.... He feels much better now when she's home alone!

Home invasion is on the rise and they seem to like to beat the crap out of whoever is home just for the fun of it. Shoot first ask question later. The shotgun is your friend don't have to aim just point and shoot your gonna do some damage

The crazy thing is that in Canada if you were to shoot the guy you would most likely be charged.

Glad the family is okay - hope you or they get the guy.

I love the TX castle laws... Okay to shoot to protect yourself and property. However if someone breaks into my place, lawful or not, he would have been popped. Better to be sued but still be alive...
Intruders should accept being shot as a consequence of their stupid action.

Mossberg "Persuader" model 500. Under $300 at a local gunshop near you. 18 1/2" barrel, pistol grip if you choose.

My theory is not to kill them if you don't have to. Therefore, in a pump I load first a couple of slugs, then a few OO Buck, then #2, then # 4.
Naturally, your firing in the reverse of how you loaded them.

If they're really spaced out you may have to put them down perminently.

Hopefully, [If they got any sense at all] The sound of a pump chambering will make them make a quick exit and you won't have to patch any dry wall.

That is why it is very very critical for us to teach our wives (and children if old enough) the fundementals of and the use of firearms for personel protection. My wife twice a year goes through an hour or two of "training" every six months. She learns all three weapons I make available to her when I'm not around and out of town. The .38 snub for close encounters if she runs out of ammo with the 12 ga. auto shotty with double odd buck or if it fails to fire. She also is capable of firing my .243 Win and 300 WSM if she has too, which is plenty to take someone or something out at long range. Plus, this helps during deer season. This is critical and she is very happy to have the knowledge of each's safety mechanisms and overall function, because really seconds sometimes mean the difference between "feet" (six feet under) and it gives her a sense of security when I'm not around.

She also knows that if the dog is going super crazy not to check something out BEFORE obtaining a weapon and going to look. If that gal would have had a weapon when she saw him at the sliding glass door, THE END. NO MORE HOME INVASIONS and possible violent crimes in that nieghborhood. I could care less if he dies or not or they charge my wife with manslaughter or whatever, at least she will be alive and well. I can assure you she feels the same way. How the state or folks that sue get away with charging people who defend themselves from criminals is beyond me. I'm even suprised there are laws established for "proper" conduct during such an event. Eveything happens so fast you have no thought patterns really, it's just flight or fight. Why not take the latter and lesson the odds of ending up injured physically or emotionally or possible worse yet dead. Sometimes I just flat out don't understand some of the laws that are made up that protect criminals and it upsets me much. Whatever happened to a good ole' fashioned hangin'. Betcha crime would be far less.

I have 16 shots, if I don't hit you with the first one, I definitely will with the last 15!!

To bad you can't teach a pitbull to shoot a gun... Meth and crackheads are ruining the earth. Somebody in Seattle broke off my antenna probably to smoke crack out of it. WTF
