wiper motor foil decal

Is anybody reproducing these? There's a guy on ebay but $25.00 seems a little steep for a decal nobody's probably ever going to see. If I have to I'll buy from him but looking for a lower-priced option.

I saw that awhile back too. Even sent him an email and asked if he could duplicate the one on my wiper motor. Never got a reply. FWIW my decal is still legible. If you decide to duplicate this yourself, LMK and I'll send you the info on my tag. Might be a little hard to get to right now.... are you in a hurry to do this?
I don't believe even Mark Cornea is doing them, but I can send him an email and ask.

I went to Mark's site and didn't see anything. Pulled my wiper motor yesterday and stripped it, glass beaded it and detailed it today. I ordered a new pump assy with the correct White pump housing and Black plastic cover that should be here in a few days to complete it so I would like to get a decal soon. The guy on ebay has the correct decal I need (part# 5044756) so I might have to pay the $25.

I agree with you that the foil decal is really high priced. There's got to be someone else who makes them besides that guy on ebay. Have you checked any Chevy, Buick or Pontiac sites? The wiper motor assembly was pretty universally used back then.
You could always install the decal later if you want to do research of find a different supplier. Just saying don't let the decal dictate the timeline on the pump resto completion.

I found a guy I know from Team Chevelle that's reproducing them. I gave him my build date and he comes up with the Julian date and shift, etc. to put below the part#. It's on it's way (and for 1/3 the price of the ebay one!)

Great! Is he open for more business? If so maybe you could post his e-contact info and some others on this site could give him some business. I wouldn't mind getting one for my car when I do my wiper/pump. My production date is April 7, 1972. I've seen a few builds on this feature already and no one had the foil decals to put back on.

I'm sure he wouldn't mind. His name is Don Lightfoot (he's Canadian like yourself - Kingston, Ontario) and his site is: http://www.angelfire.com/rock/69ss/frame.html - on the left side click on "Specialized Detail Decals".
I pulled my wiper motor to detail it (it was working fine it's just that someone 'spray bombed' it Black). I stripped it down and glass beaded it and just finished putting the correct finishes on it. I ordered a replacement washer pump with the correct White pump nozzle and plastic cover to finish it off. That should arrive tomorrow and I'll take some 'after' pictures. Unfortunately I didn't take a 'before' pic but imagine a grimey, spray-bombed one.
