Wiper Blades?

I know most of the 60's & 70's era cars are only driven in nice weather,
so the need to replace wiper blades is minimal.
My car, '67 Cutlass, is a driver and I need to replace wiper blades.
I've only been able to find the universal blades that you break off the length
you need to fit.
Don't care much for these.
What are you guys doing for blades?
I'd be happy with correct refills if they can be had.

Gonna hijack this a bit. I have a 66 and also not too keen on the 'universal' blades. Does anyone make a decent 15" blade?

Most auto parts houses carry the Trico refills in stock.

Rock Auto is a good source. I purchased the correct parts in a dull silver for about $3 each + shipping

Agree with this. I typically buy 3-4 sets of refills for each of my vehicles so that I can save on shipping. I think I still have 2 sets of refills for the Cutlass but I need to get more for the Jeep (it has 13" blades that are difficult to find locally).

Thanks, guys, for the quick replies.
Looks like Rock Auto has a big selection and good prices.
Thanks again.

Even if you only drive your car during good weather you might still be caught out by unexpected rain, certainly over here you will!.
If you haven't used your wipers for a few months and this happens to you it might be a good idea to quickly clean up the blades with a damp cloth or something before using them, to make sure there are no bits of grit or other windshield unfriendly abrasives on the blades.

I got the 'classic' style wiper blades from Napa a couple months back. Not great, they're curved too much and the entire blade doesn't come into contact with the glass so they don't clean very well; wouldn't recommend these unless you're in a pinch or as a last resort.

The originals were stainless, the Trico Classics are painted. There are some stainless units available for a few more dollars, why cheap out?
