I have a 65 Cutlass convertible and I'm putting the wind lace back onto the pinch weld on the rear quarter inside panel between the top of the interior side panel and the door sill. There is a noticeable gap between this area. The wind lace is made of plastic. Wondering if it has shrunk? If I move the wind lace up close to the interior panel there is a gap near the door sill, if I move the wind lace to fit under the sill plate there's a gap under the interior panel. Was this a factory flaw?
