Will it fit?🤔

So my prize for winning 1st place in the Covercraft virtual car show is a 350.00 gift certificate from Covercraft. I've decided to get a new car cover for my '72 Supreme, but they only make them for the Cutlass S. Would that fit my Supreme since it is a bit longer than a Cutlass S?

The length is the same - same frames and same bumpers, so overall length has to be identical. The problem is the roofline.

And the "optional" wing on the rear.

I've had Cutlii with wings, and the commercial covers fit just fine. They aren't exactly "tailored".

And to the original question, it seems to me that a cover for a 1970-72 Monte Carlo will be closer to a Supreme hardtop than one for a Cutlass S. They do list covers for the Monte. Yes, the Monte IS about 3" longer than a Supreme.

And I believe that 3" is all fan shroud!
They look like half of a 55 gallon drum!

Yeah, the extra wheelbase is all between the firewall and the front wheels. You can see the length in the front fender behind the wheel. Of course this means that despite the extra wheelbase, the Monte has exactly zero extra legroom. Go figure.

There's no real difference between the two on car covers. I've got one of each.
