Who Owns This Car?

Hi All: I've been searching for pictures and owners of 1967 Olds Delta 88 Holiday Custom Coupes. From what I can tell, there are not too many of us out there. Do any of you happen to know who owns this car? If you do, can you let him know that I'm looking for him. I'd like to pick his brain.
Here's some pics of the car in question.

I can only hope that when my car is finished it will look as good as this one!

Here's another '67 Custom Holiday Coupe. This was posted by Jaunty75. Any more pics of this one? Anybody know who owns it?

What were the production numbers for 1967 Delta 88 Custom Holiday Coupes?

Thanks Much!

Have you joined the Oldsmobile Club of America? That is exactly what OCA is all about. You'll find him there.

I've been admiring that one for a while. It's perfect, and what I'd like mine to look like one day (sans the color).

Did you find any engine bay pictures?

You took some of these photos at the OCA Nationals last July, didn't you? I took some photos of it there, too.

It really is beautiful. I have the owner's name, but I'm not sure if I should post it here without his permission. I can email it to you privately. He lives south of Columbus, Ohio. I don't know the exact town.

P.S. I'm looking for the red Oldsmobile rocket emblem that goes right in the center of the grille that you can see at the far right in the fourth photo below. That's missing completely on my car.

Wow, beatuiful car. I ordered a battery tie-down from Fusicks. I thought I ordered the wrong part. Now I see how it goes.
BTW, I wasn't at the OCA Nationals last July. I found the pics that I had posted floating on the web.

I got one of those hold-downs, too, right from the Fusick trailer at the show, and it works fine. You're right, though, in that having a picture of what it's supposed to look like really helps.

Here's a photo of my car's engine that I took when I was in the process of rebuilding the carburetor. The coil is the blue cylindrical thing in the upper left.

(Yes, the engine is gold and it should be red. That was the former owner at work. Note that he didn't bother to remove the vacuum hoses as the one coming off the front left corner of the carb also got gold paint on it.)

Just a word of caution here. Be careful when trying to determine what is correct/original. A full restored car is often "full of errors" despite of how nice it is and how much money was spent on it.
I'm not saying this applys directly to items being discussed here, just to the false premise that a restored car like that is 100% correct. This kind of presumption is why there are a lot of correct details that get lost over the years.
For example, no disrespect to that car, but I can tell you at a glance that there is way too much gloss on various components under the hood.

Point well taken. The battery connections look like the ones sold by Fusick's. My parts car battery connections are different. The Delta 88 was made in many different GM plants and some used different parts, for example the parking brake assembly and the hood bumper adjusting studs are different between my two 88's.
Sure paint can be off as well. I'm not going for a Concours grade restoration but I still would like to keep things as original as possible with the exception of a few things.
Trying to make my car look as good as this one will be a challenging goal.

I do think it's quite fair to say that this black '67 Delta Custom has been overrestored as I doubt very much any Oldsmobile left the factory with, for example, as glossy a paint job as is on the radiator shroud and the whole front of the engine bay. This car is essentially a museum piece now.

But it is useful to compare to for correctness in wiring colors and routing, hose routing, and even the little tag under the negative terminal connection on the battery.

So, no, one would probably not want to make the engine bay look like the one in this car if one is going for an original look, but, on other hand, it's probably tempting as hell to give it that extra gloss and make it look better than new.

Saw this one @ Dearborn in '08, a very nice car, and yes not correct as far as paint under the hood, but still nice. The guy that owns it is probably in his '70's, chatted with him for minute.

I had to resize these (smaller) to upload here, otherwise I get the "upload failed" message.

Hey Marcello: That's a spare bottle of windshield washer fluid that you can carry with you under the hood. You are able to purchase one of these bottles and the bracket from Fusick's.

I have a black windshield washer jar. This is out of my 67 parts car. Black is where it's at!
Opaque white plastic is not correct for my car. Do you need any of these parts?

I've got a spare washer jar like that if anyone needs one. It was sold to me as correct for my H/O (mine was missing), but it wasn't the right piece.
