White Box Headers

Has anyone used White Box Long Tube Headers? I found them on the Holley website as I was doing a search for headers for my 72 350. I know sometimes you get what you pay for but for the price they definitely have my attention. If not, does anyone have any preference for an inexpensive nice fit without modifications? Thanks in advance!

I assume you have an olds 350 in your 72. The link in your post leads to a set of small block chevy headers.

"Fits 1967-1974 Camaro, 1965-1974 Chevrolet Full Size Car, 1964-1973 Chevelle, 1964-1974 El Camino/Malibu, 1964-1972 Skylark, 1970-1974 Monte Carlo, 1968-1974 Chevy II/Nova, 1967-1974 Firebird/Trans Am, 1971-1974 Ventura, 1964-1974 Grand Prix, 1964-1974 Cutlass/442, 1973-1974 Regal equipped with 265-400 Small Block Chevrolet"

Correct, I have an Olds 350 in my 72. According to the website these headers have multiple applications and 64-74 Cutlass is one of them along with many Chevy and Buick applications as well.

***I see what you're saying now...all the way at the bottom "equipped with SBC"

Thanks for the information!

They will fit in the frame of multiple vehicles but SBC headers will not bolt up to your small block olds. The paragraph in my above post is directly from the whitebox headers link. If you look at the mounting flanges you can see they are for sbc heads. I just ran a search on the holley site and the search engine does not seem to distinguish between an olds 350 and a chevy 350. Several SBC header choices come up when searching olds 350. Only olds headers show up if you try an olds 455.

Here is the cheapest set of Small block olds headers I saw on the holley site, but it looks like they are on backorder for at least a month.

Flowtech rust quickly and have thin flanges. You get what you pay for, actually less.

I can't comment on the fit for small block olds, but I have a set of the cheap ebay stainless headers on my vista with an LS. They went in great with no fitment or clearance issues. They also have band clamp style collectors instead of the 3 bolt type and they have thick (about 3/8 ") mounting flanges at the heads.
