Unhappy what year did olds go to BOP pattern?

Anyone know what year Oldsmobile went to the BOP bell pattern? I am thinking 65, and if so did they use switch pitch 400's?

The 1964 330 was the first Olds engine to use the BOP pattern, as did all subsequent Olds motors through the 1990 307. The switch pitch TH400 was used through 1967.

Cool

thanks joe:

I am contemplating putting a 400 switch pitch behind a 300 buick. I don't believe Buick used 400's behind their non-nailhead engines till 67, which means there should be 67 Buicks with big block BOP pattern with a sp 400. If not then the Olds sp 400 should bolt up. Am I right?

I can't speak to what Buick did, but the Olds trans will bolt up.
