What Tires do you like?

Me again!

OK, so I was wondering if I could solicit some opinions on tire brands. I need a set of 4 (gonna go with the P225-70R14s).

I know lots of folks use BF Goodrich TA radials, and I have seen some Firestone Firehawks, but in terms of handling for a 70 442 (w-30 suspension) what brand does your experence suggest is best?

Thanks in advance folks! This site is great.....learned lots here in last year or so!!

I have changed all my Olds to 15 inch. I still have 14 on my daily driver Elco. I have found it hard to find white letter tires in 14 inch. Every place I called said they would have to see if they could get some, none in stock. Also, the price has gone up a lot. I bought BF Goodrich T/A as they were all I could find at a resonable price.

I'm days away from ordering tires as well. I'm going with the Radial T/A's. I've had them before on other cars, like the looks and they gave good service.

My car currently has 215/70/14's on it. I've been reading posts and trying to decide between 225/70 or 245/60...

As far as handling I can't help but I can say I've always gotten good life, wear and rainy weather traction from BF Goodrich or Goodyear tires.
