Here's Jamesbo's next vehicle for his collection! All original, # matching, little rust, needs a new home ...oh, and a new windshield to pass inspection. Otherwise not bad! Ran when new...bring chainsaw!.....does the data plate say anything special, or is this just a plain jane!

Erik,
Bring it on down, I see a few things that might be saved.

But it's a sad pic

I there a bear living in that car? If there is now I know why he was looking for parts at Jamesbo's.

That hood could be fixed.
The legendary duct tape comes into play once again.

1969

Yep, I'd drag it home if I had the room

Is that a factory hood? Looks like a W exhaust manifold on a blue painted 455, but the factory big block should have been a 400 in 1969. Disc Brake master cylinder. Console, buckets, power windows, black interior parts. If the rust is terminal there certainly are some nice parts on the car. If you don't have a chainsaw I'd at least crawl over it real good and see what else it has on it! John

Get your hands off my next project.
I see at lease 4 good hose reels there.
What amazes me is the key in the ignition

OK.... the right front looks like a hose reel to me, but the left rear looks like an SSII

I may have relayed this info before but in case you missed it. The hose reel is Argent color if its an SSII and if it's color keyed to the lower house color if it's an SSIII.
I think it's in the Olds FAQ, or is that info wrong too?

It will buff out............

Presuming the body/frame are past, usable parts should be salvaged before they get any worse. Shame.........

what a waste. Underhood looks almost as bad as the 68 I cut apart last year.
