Anyone know what happened to oldsmobility.com? Looks like the web site is gone.....

 

Domain registration probably lapsed. Websites cost money.

 

The owner/ creator was a member here.

However I can't remember his name.

 

His username was....OLDSmobility.

A few months ago my web hosts were having some problems and it required me to take OLDSmobility.com offline for what was supposed to be a very short while. But then I just completely forgot about it! *sheesh*

It's back now FWIW.

The website www.oldsmobility.com is unreachable via PING - indicates unreachable via internet fetch request. The domain remains active and paid through May, 2024 - which means nothing if they aren't maintaining the website. The website does resolve via DNS lookup servers on the Internet - which means DNS records are being held on DNS name servers on the Internet. The fact it's unreachable via PING would seem to indicate very simply - the site is DOWN. DNS servers can resolve the domain name to a valid IP address.
