I put a Edelbrock 1806 on an Edelbrock 2711 intake last summer. Its a stock 350 rocket with about 92,000 miles on it when I changed over. Im quite happy with the results. IMO its a pretty decent set up right out of the box. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend it.

Just bought the car and it has a factory intake and a 650 holley. From what I remember the qjet was a 750cfm. correct?

Yes, the sixties-through-early '70s QJs would flow 750cfm, with some mid-to-later-'70s models flowing 850.

You don't need more than 650 for a factory SB, and a QJ is designed to properly meter lower air volumes than its rated maximum.

The Edelbrock (Carter AFB) has a fine reputation for good out-of-the-box performance and economy with no initial adjustments.

If that carb is working for you, it will work on your 3711 manifold.
