I found this in a parts bag from where I took things apart decades ago and I can't remember where it came from. (See photo of the part below) I did see some looking for new parts in the WTB buy section. Seems like it might have had something to do with the carpet but I just can't remember! Anyone know what these are and where they go and how many are needed?
That is a valve cover grommet for a breather/ tube. It would not be correct for factory olds valve covers, but would be on many of the aftermarket chrome valve covers like edelbrock, etc. Also correct for SBC an BBC valve covers with push in style breathers.

WOW, not even for an Oldsmobile?? I have a 1976 Corvette but have never changed anything on the 350....it's stock! Before it, I haven't owned anything with a SBC or BBC since like 1977! Not sure where this rubber thing is from. Someone on here or on the Corvette Forum had a post in the WTB section in the past year. Don't care enough to look back for it! I'll just set it aside since the 442 is my focus right now! Thanks for the info!
