What is it???

This bracket was in a box of UHV parts I bought off ebay as back-up system in case I ever have issues with the original system on my Toro. Does anyone recognize what it is off of. With the possibility that it came from the same car as the rest of the parts, the UHV box is Part # 1115015 with a 7F date code and the Distributor is part # 1111179 with a date code of 6L4. Does anyone have an idea of what this bracket is?
Thanks in advance.

Not sure but it looks to be some sort of support bracket.

I agree, I am thinking thinking it looks like the type of thing that would mount in the grill area to hold something, but I am at a loss as to where it goes or what it might hold.

The opening has the appearance of the shape of the AC liquid receiver with the sight glass in the top of it but most I've seen had a clamp around the body instead. Maybe a year and model I've not seen before?

Almost looks like something that would hold a light socket.

I thought the same thing, but the one pic shows 11" overall. That would make the hole about 2-3", I'd say.
