W-41 walk around

The video don't do it justice but these cars sound really nice at idle. Car has 31,400 miles.

Eric, where did that car come from b/c it looks very much like the one from Ohio that came to Greensboro national meet. I can't remember if that car had any Chesrown dealer badging.

Nice! There's definitely a side of me that appreciates the products of those years. Not your stereotypical muscle, but still appealing.

Eric, do you know what ever happened to the guy that rescued a car identical to yours out of a wrecking yard back in 2017. He had a lot of work to do and had started on the car and then just quit posting. I know you had posted on his thread. Here is the link to the thread (search function is my friend).

This was owned by the Chesrown dealership and his sun David drove it. It later become his car and that is who I just got it from.

I have wondered what happened to him a time or two over the past couple years. I may send him a message or email and see how things are going.

The GM training video over the Quad 4 was interesting when it was introduced. Been close to 30 years since I viewed it but remember being wide eyed and impressed with the engineering while watching. The engine in the training video looked like it was from an Indy car with headers and the horsepower to cubic inch ratio was higher than anything else at the time.

I think the W-41 quad 4 had something like 1.4 HP per cubic inch.

If you ever decide to part with either Chesrown license plate frame, please contact me. I am working to track them down for my Chesrown car. Still love those little cars!!!
