Is this a w-31 balancer
i bought another 350 and I've been looking at the balancer noticing it looks different than my other olds engine. Then I remembered having read that w-31 have a different balancer.

Measure the thickness, should be 2 1/8" to be a W31 balancer.

Your picture looks thicker than mine but I'll measure. Is it just an early small block balancer?

Looks like an early one. Same as on my '68. I think it changed to the more uniform_thickness_without_little_divots one late '69, maybe ?
