There have been a couple threads on this recently. Phoenix Graphics and Stenciils and Stripes have been mentioned. My car is in the shop getting color sanded and W 30 stripes applied. The guy who is doing it is very particular and rejected the stencil kit from the vendor he uses, even though he has used this vendor with success many times. I will try to find out which vendor he is using and let you know.

The stencil set from Phoenix requires a lot of 'fitting' to work, better to use the AM, and have your painter lay out the stripes.

Your best bet is to buy the hood stencil from jstrits on here and layout the side stripes with tape. The stencil kit I used from Phoenix Graphix needs more work to make it look like something than it takes to lay them out by hand. The deck lid stencil from them doesn't have the angle so depending which side you start on the other side ends up high.

I have done it both ways and would rather lay it out myself i get a better product.

Fred, that is exactly what I'm doing in my project. Bought my set of hood stencils fron jstrits last week. On the side stripes I've got access to a good, legible set of GM prints and lots of pics of original examples courtesy of all the good people here on CO.
