how much is a rust free w-29 hood worth. it does have a couple of dings but they are shallow and the inserts would need to be rechromed. i am replacing with a w-30 hood so i would like to sell this one but no idea where to start.

 

It's not really worth anymore than a stock Cutlass S hood. The W29 option is just the hood striping and Oldsmobile emblem holes (which could be drilled into any hood). The hood you are replacing it with? If it's the twin OAI scoops, that is called a W25 hood, it was part of the W30 package. Is it OEM, Thorntons or an all fibreglass?

To answer your original question, without seeing it but anticipating the damage is easily repairable, most of them I've seen go for around 100.00

 

thanks for the correction. and it is all fiberglass the only oem i found that i could afford was 500 but the front corner was broken off so i passed. now i will see if i can get rid of this thing
