does anyone know the fair value for a 68 455 AC oil filler tube. I bartered it with a buddy just trying to figure out a fair agreed upon value, and ideas? This is def the one for an AC car and I assume its worth a bit more

Tude and dipstick sold recently on eBay for $50. By no means is that a benchmark, just a reference.

If it's any help Fusicks sells them as new repro parts. Page 56

OFT6877 Oil Filler Tube:
This replacement Oil Filler Tube is correct length and appearance. For all 1968-77 Oldsmobile 350-455 V8 Engines. 23.50
I have a spare I took out of a 73 455 that's in great shape too. OEM and guaranteed to fit.

EDIT: Why do you think an AC car has a different tube??

I was just curious because I'd never heard this before. So it would be for any Cutlass/442 68 V8 with AC or did it also extend to the full size models? Found neat pic on the web showing why it was bent. What is that black tube that comes across the top of the block to the snorkel? Most of the non AC cars I looked at didn't have that. A few did though. Here are 2 good shots that show the curved filler.... the first one obviously is modified, but the second one is the one with the tube I was curious about.
