That passenger side sport mirror is still good! Not a mark on it.

Many Oldsmobiles to count in this one. Spotted about 5-6 myself.

Always like the 71-74 Ventura. Nice car....before the crash.

those cars sure bounce around a lot at higher speeds....

And that Ventura did a nice little burnout to start.

The driver of the Grandville looked like the same guy who drove the Charger in Bullit. Some pretty hairy high rpm sounds from what looks like a pretty tame Ventura, not to mention a couple double clutch shifts from an automatic.

Yes you are correct. That is Bill Hickman @ the wheel of the Grandville & he was also the driver of the Charger in Bullet. If memory serves me correctly he was also a stunt driver in the movie The French Connection.

Did anyone else notice the rear sway bar on the Grandville?

Yes on the sway bar.....a lot of computer generated scenes in that one! What ever happened to real car chases like that one. Seems Dirty Harry used to always have a good car chase scene!

A lot of 71-76 Grandvilles came with sway bars. I got one from a 71 and now have it on my 70 Bonneville convertible.

I like how the roads are dry, the cars are moving at higher speeds, and they don't over do the fishtails.
I also wonder why no one back in the day knew how to do a proper pitt maneuver. I guess it would have ended the chase too early.
