This may sound silly but is there any use for a used exhaust system for anybody? Let me explain. I'm replacing the nearly new Dynamax system on my car for a correct factory system on Saturday and It's really a shame to throw away a perfectly good system that I know was pretty expensive. It's a Dynamax system with x-pipe that appears to be 2 1/2" all the way back. It has a great sound but is not a factory correct system that has bothered me since buying the car a year and a half ago. The main problem is that it is welded throughout so it would have to be strategically cut if it were to be saved. It should fit any '70-'72 Cutlass/442. I don't want anything for it but shipping would probably be pretty pricey. If it's crazy to save I'll pitch it but I thought I would check.

 

I bet someone could use it. I'd try to find a taker before dumping it.
Remember, most of it will also fit Chevelles, Goats, and Skylarks, the front portions would just have to be fabricated.

I'd put the word out in your area and see if anyone shows up to claim it.

i'd save it... it wouldn't take up much room in the garage rafters. i don't know if its because i'm getting older or more enviromentally concious but i find myself reusing more things a lot more often when it's feasable.

if it wasn't so far away i'd buy it and use it on my cutlass.

 

Put it on your local craigslist! I bet someone will take it off your hands!
