update on the 70

update on the 70

heres some pics of my 70 with the interior freshly gutted, im actually quite happy with the condition its in, also, there is one pic of my intake+carb, theres a lil pice which has 2 spade terminals(not hooked up) and 2 vacum ports(one is hooked the other isnt) what is this piece? and do i need it?

i have absolutly no idea what it is, it wasnt hooked up in the donor car either, i was hoping someone on here could tell me

That is a TCS solenoid (transmission controlled spark) that was to improve emissions by distributer advance only when car was warm or in high gear.
