Trunk Lid Dimensions

Good morning. I’m trying to find the dimensions on a ‘70 442 Holiday Coupe trunk lid. I’m especially interested in the proper width (quarter to quarter.) I’ve been reading all my manuals but cannot find the dimensions.

My second question is : is the trunk lid width the same for a ‘70 Convertible as a Holiday Coupe ?

Not my era , but on a 55 they are different because of the top storage area needed, but someone here with a tape measure will know for sure.. Tedd

There are three different trunk lids for the 1970-72 Cutlass bodies, the "fastback" Holiday Coupe (xx77 and xx87 Fisher Body codes), the Supreme notchback Holiday Coupe (xx57), and the convertible and four door. They do not interchange. The convertible/four door lid has rounded corners and is narrower than the fastback.

Thank you Joe. I could use a PowerPoint presentation on your photo notation skills.

FYI - Measured outer edge to outer edge of the trunk lid.
