True 442?
The VIN says that the body is a real 1969 442. The 33687 cowl tag is well documented in factory literature for 1968-69 442s. The trans is a 1979 and the engine is obviously a 73-76 smogger. The paint is custom.
A real 442 from the factory but modified to suit the owners desires. The custom paint is a reverse scheme of the 68 Hurst olds (which I think looks pretty darn sharp). IMO it's a very tastefully done car.
As Joe noted, smogger heads but who knows? Maybe it was built properly for this car.
