Tranmission

Today I was riding in my car and when I get it up to 60 mph I would press the gas and it feels like it want pull just the rpm going up but when I'm just riding it perfect when I get on the highway it want pull at all over 60-65 mph it's a 350 turbo when I'm riding around 60-65 I'm at 3000 rpm I have a 3.42 gear 22-2600 stall any idea on what's going in are what I need to do

Sounds likes it's slipping. Mash the gas and all that happens was rpms go up means the trans needs to be serviced.

What about my rpm been at 3000 at 60-65 mph my gear is a3.42 posi 18 inch tires 22-2600 stall

How is the fluid level and condition? Does it smell burnt or is it turning brown? Is your detent cable working correctly? Shifting into all gears + passing?

At 60 mph if you mash it it should downshift. X2 with oldcutlass. I forgot about that as I manually downshift my th400. What trans do you have ?
