Touching story about a man and his mom's Oldsmobile

This might be behind a paywall, but it is a wonderful story about a man who tracked down and bought his mother's 1971 Cutlass Supreme convertible.

Nice story for that rag of a paper, too.

Great story, thanks for sharing. Surprising to find the aviator glasses & personal items contained in the glove box. What a find.

That was amazing, wasn't it? It sounds like the previous owner who bought it from the guy's mother's estate really took good care of it.

It's nice to see a lost and found article with a happy ending. Most people are not so lucky.

Hi Tom,
I saw the story on ABC World News last night also. Great story. The buyer persisted until the owner, in his 80's, relented in order to see the car go to a good home, and boy did it!! Great story showing the son of the the original owner driving the car with his children. Now there is certainly a car that won't be flipped.

Joe P. The car, a Cutlass Supreme convertible, has rocker moldings, no W-30 stripe nor W-30 badges, no W-25 hood, no wing, no bumper cut outs.... Check it out!;
Keep hope alive......

And wheel covers and whitewalls too! Love it. Though in the video it looks like his top taillights maybe out.
