It was a good article on a great car. I had a '70 Toro (non GT) that was the same color combination as the one in the article It was unbelievable in the snow. I used to drive mine all winter in Wisconsin and never got stuck once - it would pretty much go through anything. I also had a '70 GT later on. It was white with a blue vinyl top, blue stipes and blue interior. I bought the car off the street in a little town south of Albuquerque. I drove it out there for several years before trading it to another guy in SE New Mexico for a Galleon Gold '70 W30. He eventually exported the Toro to Sweden and my W30 was stolen. Neither one of us ever saw the cars again.
