Toque convert bolts

Ok guys in kinda new to this and have asked a couple questions on here and have received great answers. Thanks for all the help. So here goes another question. I need to know what kinda bolts to use to bolt my toque converter to my fly wheel. Can I go to the hardware store and get hardened bolts or do I have to get special bolts? I got the car as a basket case and I almost have her road ready! Just need to get sum little things done! Oh and it's a 455 to a 350 trans. If that matters. Thanks guys!

Yes, these are standard GM T/C bolts - they are specials because of their length, but almost all GM T/C bolts are the same, and every auto parts store should have them.

Just be carefull. Many (but not all) new torque converters have metric bolt holes and require a differant bolt. Is this a stock converter or a replacement?

Test fit everything. Make sure the TC seats perfectly on the trans. Make sure it seats right into the crank. Make sure the bell housing mates perfectly to the engine without the TC in the middle. And make sure your new bolts thread cleanly for everything. When you're balancing a trans on a jack with a new TC full of oil on the end of the snout ... that's not the time to discover something doesn't fit.
