I took my cutlass to the evergreen speedway street drags 1/8th mile races today. My first time at the track and it was a blast, car was slow but i had a great time. I did a best of 9.827@ 53.5 which i guess is good for a stock 215/auto. I ran in bracket 1 which is 10.00 and slower, only one other guy in my class and he broke out so I got first place.

When I was a kid in the mid 70's, kids would take everything and anything including their parents cars to the track. It was fun no matter what you drove. Glad you had a good time.

I put new tires on and went back to the track. first run was a high 9.7 and set a new pb at a 9.68. I really need to work on my reaction times but im having fun going to the track. they ran a true bracket style race and i made it to round 3, opponents from first two races broke out then in round 3 i broke out. It was really fun though.
