Today's Trivia: Name this Hood Ornament

Was at a local car show last week and saw this very unique piece; who can name the car's make and model?

Is it a Kaiser, or Frasier?

wr1970 was correct and I did not know the year. It is a very cool ornament and a cool car. It's a sedan with a station wagon thing.

Most people in Europe at least say Renault made the first hatchback, but it seem Kaiser beat them by some 14 years....

That's a Kaiser Traveler. Frazer counterpart was the Vagabond. Like many of Henry Kaiser's ideas, a little too far ahead of its time.

I've said for years that had Kaiser had a modern moderate displacement OHV V8, say 305-350 ci, they could have decimated Lincoln and Imperial and given Cadillac a run for its money.

The cars are beautiful inside and out, just in the price range they were competing, no one wanted a flathead six.
