Todays show/oldsmobiles/2nd place survivor
For a change,a fair amount of Oldsmobiles at the same show today.
I ended up with a 2nd place award for "survivor to 1975" class. Made for a really nice first show of the year.
I know you guys love pics, please enjoy them.
thanks

Congratulations on your win! Fabulous pics of the show. That red 70 is killer too. I'm starting to get around to the older cars now as a point of interest. What year was the white/red Holiday 88? I'm gonna guess 50?
Thank you so much for taking the time to capture the cars and preserve them as a picture history. I really appreciate it, as it takes me back to the days of my youth

Thank you Allan,
I'm not sure of the year on the 88.
From looking at pics at this site,I can't tell the difference between 1950-1954.

Your welcome and thanks for the reply.
Yes,that 69 is a very nice car,my pics really do it no justice.I really wanted a pic of the blue interior but the owner had the windows rolled up and I never did see them anywhere around the car.

Great job W-30dreamin hopefully you will do as good or better in the next go-round. The red 70 442 was nice as well. Was it was trying to be a tribute W-30 with the red inner fenders and stripe? I've heard of stripe delete but not emblem delete when it came to a W-30. Hmmm.?? Looked great none the less and even had correct paint on the engine as far as I could tell as well as yours too. Between red and gold, I'd take the gold one anytime so IMO yours rules. Cheers to you and your awesome ride(s)

Great pics Richard! With your pics and explanation I can see the differences in years now.
I missed the fact that the 50 still used the quarter panel with the big bulge in it.
Thanks
