Been there done that. What? No front springs? Or brake pads or caliper rebuild kit? Be sure to keep us updated. If you run into any problems (and you will) we'll be here to help. I did the whole front suspension, steering and brakes on my 72 (almost identical to your 70) last year. You know that once you start taking all the suspension apart you might as well go ahead and reconditon all that other stuff. Start now to avoid the summer disspointment of not driving in good weather.

That is God's truth. Document EVERYTHING you do with your car before, during and after. It gives all the references you 'wish' you had.

BTW, I'm going on a leap of faith here. Do you have a CSM and AM for your car? Those 2 manuals are invaluable with explanations, diagrams and charts you will need for things like installations and torque.
