Tires

I am looking for some suggestions on Tire sizes. This is for a 69 Cutlass S. Currently the car has 14's in rims on the front and 15's on the rear. What i have done with the suspensions is put Vista springs all the way around to give it some lift. What i am working on now is putting 15's all the way around it with aluminum 5 slot mags, Right now the fronts are 215's on the front and the rear is 295 x 50 r 15's. The rear tires are hell of alot of meat. With them on there it gives the car a good looking stance but i really think it is effecting the stearing of the car. I talked to a guy awhile back in KY and his 68 was lower in the rear. He had stated it drove better that way. I want to downsize the rear tires a bit as well as curious on how to figure out what will fit on the front without rubbing the finders. Any help anyone may have with what they have had to deal with is greatly appreciated.
