i have a 1970 cutlass duel gate floorshift non tilt car and want to convert to tilt. i have a 1971 A body tilt column laying around but it is column shift. can i use the collar off my original column to make it right or do i need to get the correct collar? if i need a new collar where can i get parts from? thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

 

This guy deals in tilt columns, he has 35 years experience rebuilding them. His name is Chuck. He would definitely be able to answer your questions.
