Then and now pics
jensenracing's 1990 vs 2014 thread gave me an idea of having a thread about our 'then and now' pics.
It's always cool to see how some things have changed and how others have stayed the same.
If anyone else has had the opportunity to create some pics like that, post 'em up.
I'll start.
My first pic was taken at my parents house in June '88 shortly after the car came home from it's 'over winter' rebirth. Ahhhh, to be 19 again, and not have a care in the world....

The next was taken in July '11 with the intention of a 'then and now' pic.
Obviously, it's not the same car , and I may have 'grown' a bit, but the location is the same. My how the neighborhood has changed..... LOL

It's not old cars, but check this out. I had some fun with some turn-of-the-20th century-era photos taken in various U.S. cities and comparing them to photos from similar locations today. I used Google street view for the modern images.

I dont have a recient pic of me and the car, but here is a pic of me in 1968 in my toy car with MY olds watching over me in the garage. Mom and dad bought it used in 66 when mom was pregnant with me, came home from the hospital in her. She has been part of my life since day one. Kind of a member of the family!
