I love how long and low that Ninety Eight is. Looks like the kids were having fun too! BTW are those wire discs from a 72 or 73? They look very familiar

Good eye, Allan. I picked the wire hubs up at Fall Hershey this year ( $50 ). They are in beautiful shape. I thought they were 15" and intended to put them on the '75. Got home....no dice. So changed the covers on the Ninety Eight (14") and I liked the look. Purists be damned !

GOOD DEAL!!!! I paid 400.00 for a set of NOS ones 3 years ago. Never been on a wheel - still haven't. What I like about these ones is they have some weight and quality to them; not like the 80's stuff that oozed 'cheapo'. They're pretty heavy aren't they? One other thing I like is how the wheel spokes stick out at the center make that cone effect. When the sun is on these and you're moving, they probably look like diamonds sparking! I agree with you; they look so awesome on your car.

If you ever need to restore them, they come apart pretty easy by undoing the small bolts that hold the center cap on. Then it's just removal of the spokes. They have an interweave pattern that's easy to work with.
