Summer plans for the 67 Gasser

So I'm moving back to the Houston area from Detroit. Unfortunately I feel like buying a house will take some time, so the cutlass is gonna stay at my in-laws in the DFW area.

The plan is to HOPEFULLY finally get a straight axle under it, an OD trans, some fiberglass, a metal flake paint job, and maybe some actual exhaust.

Any suggestions for shops that can do the straight axle or trans in the DFW or Houston area?

Anyone ever install fiberglass front fenders? How difficult was it to get them lined up? Did they need to be reinforced?

Did they ever make side pipes that can go on a 67?

You could call Bill Carlton at Ekstensive. Maybe you'll be on TV.

I thought sidepipes were universal unless designed for a vette or Cobra?

Speedway motors has side pipes. Real Gasser's don't have side pipes.

Housing market in DFW is a sellers market right now. You might consider looking south of Dallas or Fort Worth. Maybe Red Oak, Waxahachie, Midlothian, in that area. Houses are a little cheaper.
