Steering wheel installation

Does anybody have a picture they could post, for the istallation of a sport wheel on a 71 Supreme.Including the horn button assembly. I had mine apart on the weekend and now my horn doesn't work. Maybe I lost something, or installed something wrong.

I'm assuming you didn't disconnect the horn relay on purpose when you started and forgot to reconnect it...

Usually, the lack of horn means that you don't have the eyelet properly installed in the cancel cam. The plastic cancel cam has a tubular post that sticks up through the steering wheel hub. The small spring goes in the tube first, followed by the eyelet, with the plastic retainer last to hold it all in place. The "L" shaped tab on the horn button contact ring sits over the eyelet and presses on it to make contact. One common mistake is to put the eyelet in first, then the spring. The spring goes on the bottom.

Thanks John,
Now I understand what Joe, was describing to me and I think I see what I did wrong. But it will have to wait for the weekend before I'll be able to look at it. Thanks again for your help. Dan
