hello all. i bought a wood steering wheel 3 spoke chrome center. i believe it to be a 68? i bought it for my 69. i have the hub that comes with it. my question is will it mount to my 69? thanks in advance.

 

That wheel was only offered on the 1968 cars. The 1969-up steering column is larger in diameter due to the key being on the column starting that year. The hubs are different between 68 and 69 as a result. Other GM divisions used that wheel in 1969-later cars so the correct hub is available. It is not the same as the hub for the four spoke wheel.

 

That does look good and I can appreciate the appeal but I love my wooden OEM on my 69. Nice job!!
