Steering shaft seal
Steering shaft seal
I just rec'd a replacement seal for my intermediate steering shaft, got it from the The Parts Place.
Looks like there are 2 ways to replace it, press the cross shaft off, or drill out the nylon dowels and pull the inner shaft out, then after replacing the seal replace the nylon dowels. I can't see any way to force the seal over the cross shaft.
Any ideas?

I seem to recall I tried to bang one of those out with a sledgehammer once and it didn't want to move. My seal was good, so I just left it alone.
I'm not sure how to get the darn thing off...
