I am in the process of rebuilding the Saginaw Power Steering Gear for my 1970 Rallye 350, and need to find a Rack Piston Plug. See attached picture. When I attempted to remove the one pictured, it shattered, and is now unusable. I can not seem to find a place that sells them. Any help would be great.
Was able to find a NOS part at https://www.gmpartsgiant.com. This one was a different style, it was made from steel, instead of Aluminum, and had a Hex-head. The part number for the one I bought was 7817355. Was able to finish the Steering Box rebuild over the weekend.
