Starfire find
I just noticed an Olds starfire located on a used car lot. I think it is a '63. Looks to be in good condition but I haven't stopped to check it out. I'm guessing about a #3 condition driver. Anyone have an estimate of what it's worth. I'm in Central New York state so it may have some rust.

You'll need to give it a good close look. The Starfire uses a number of unique trim parts like the aluminum side trim, taillights, scripts, etc plus the bucket seat interior with console, tach, and floor shift. Value and desirability will depend on the condition of those features plus the basics.

You should be able to get that car for between $5-7k if the cat has it priced realistically and not Barrett-Jackson.
In a rust belt state look real close at the rear frame torque boxes just ahead of rear wheels. Also make sure the transmission functions. Up front, if you're not used to one, a Slim Jim has a weird and sometimes harsh 1-2 shift.
